High-glass polyamides for demanding equipment
Semi-aromatic and glass- or carbon-filled nylon compounds for components where strength, heat resistance and dimensional stability are the design limits.
Equipment for defence use must work across wide temperature ranges, under shock and vibration, and to tight tolerances. Our OSAMIDE range covers PA6, PA66 and semi-aromatic PA6T/6I with glass fibre up to 70% or carbon fibre up to 50%, the reinforcement levels that let polyamide take over from metal.
We develop each grade to the specification you provide and test it in our own laboratory: tensile and flexural strength on the UTM, Izod impact, HDT/VSAT and DSC. Recipes and batch genealogy are controlled in our ERP from resin lot to shipment.
What the parts need
-
Strength and stiffness
Up to 70% glass fibre or 50% carbon fibre in polyamide for load-bearing parts.
-
Heat resistance
Heat-stabilised semi-aromatic PA6T/6I grades retain stiffness at sustained high temperature.
-
Dimensional stability
High glass loadings help parts hold tolerance through temperature cycles and humidity.
-
Shock and vibration
Impact-modified, heat-stabilised PA6 such as OSAMIDE 80 G 40 H for parts under repeated shock.
Typical parts
- Equipment housings

Grades to start with
Questions buyers ask
Which grades suit high-temperature, high-load parts?
Start with the semi-aromatic OSAMIDE RAG series: PA6T/6I with 35%, 50%, 60% or 70% glass fibre, heat stabilised from 50% upwards. For impact under heat, OSAMIDE 80 G 40 H combines 40% glass fibre with heat stabilisation and impact modification.
Do you offer carbon-fibre reinforced nylon?
Yes. OSAMIDE AISC grades are PA66 with 15%, 30%, 35% or 50% carbon fibre. They suit parts where stiffness and low weight matter together, and any grade can be adapted to your specification.
What certifications do you hold?
We are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and hold ZED certification, and our grades comply with RoHS and REACH. Qualification for a specific application is carried out with you, against your drawing and test plan.
